Yippeee...I've been published

Today is a happy day for me because I was on the receiving end of some good news. I got to see my own article, in print, in a magazine. Now I have written for a magazie before but since that magazine was non-Indian, I never had the opportunity to set my eyes on my work, my words living and breathing between the covers of a freshly printed, new magazine...Aaah, the bliss!! For a person with zero-training in journalism, and at the cost of being modest, I must say I'm not bad at all. Being able to play with words is a wonderful feeling.

Hey! Congrats! So you write professionally? That's cool! I wouldn't mind seeing my stuff in a magazine either! :D

Hi Phoenix, thank you so much. Yes, I've been doing copywriting n miscellaneous writing projects but this one is a first. About that Rani bit, I feel bad manners is bad manners, period. Even more so if you are a public figure, in the company of a guest (who is a star in his own right) and on national TV. Anyway, we all know these people can get away with almost anything.

And yes, that thing with Abhishek was a real piss off...and no one is being taken to task for that either. One of my friends who is connected to the industry is almost certain this was the doing of one our super stars who feel threatened by the new competition on the block. Food for thought isn't it?

Thank you for raising my ego to unhealthy levels.

I think you need a dose of that heady ego as well. All because you write so well. Simple it is yet stylistic.

By the way Daljeet, which magazine is it?:)

I wasn't trying to give any excuses for Rani's behaviour.
What all these "super stars" will stoop to!! Humph!!
